At the top of the scoring list were Jayden Mandarano (4g-2a), 8th grade attackman Gavin Brown (5g-1a), and sophomore midfielder Zach Tortora (5a). PITTSFORD-8 at FAIRPORT-7 in overtime - This was an exciting and close game throughout, with both teams taking the lead during the game.  The teams were tied 1-1 after the first quarter and Fairport took the lead in the second which ended with the Red Raiders up 3-1. The Panthers came back strong in the third tying the game at 4-4 with four minutes left in the third quarter and the put in the go-ahead goal just before the end of the quarter. Fairport took another lead in the last quarter before Pittsford forced overtime with the games tied at 7-7. Pittsford won the game when freshman offensiveman player Cole Goetz scored the game winner. Scoring for Fairport (6-4) were Jack DuBose (3g), Mitchell Monte (2g), Michael Priddy (2a), and Ryan Priddy (1g). # 3338  Thursday: Victor and Livonia-Avon Make a Statements

Thursday: DAY IN REVIEW: In the first minute of the game Victor scored two goals against Fairport and cruised to a 19-2 win at Fairport in their season opener.  Sam Ricci dominated at the faceoff X, winning 16 of 17 (94%). Marcus Whitman won their first game of the season in a good game with Gananda. A couple of goals before the half was the difference as Livonia-Avon defeated Pal-Mac 8-6. Other winners, most in not so close games were Wayne, Aquinas, Pittsford, Irondequoit and Thomas.
